Pigs Direct

Midgham pigs are happy pigs ...!  A pig's natural habitat is woodland and our pigs' home is in
ancient woodland situated on the western boundary of the New Forest, where the top soil has never
been cultivated. Midgham pigs live exclusively out of doors where they are free to roam and express
their natural behaviour.

A pig knows what tastes good and they eat roots, leaves and anything else down to six inches of
the Forest floor. Their food is then supplemented with a non-gm nut. Their natural diet, combined
with the fact that our pigs grow over an eight-month period compared with the 15-week period of a
commercial pig, is the reason why our pork tastes so good.

You can buy this local pork, professionally butchered and vacuum packed to your requirement
(as joints, chops, sausages etc.) for £105 per side. If you feel a side is too much for your use, why
not share with a friend? Half a pig will take up two drawers of an upright freezer.  Suckling pigs are
also available.
