Pilates at Roundhill
Roundhill Pilates and Physiotherapy centre was set up in 2004 by Lisa Fitz-Gerald. It provides

tranquil setting for Pilates classes where clients can relax and enjoy beneficial exercise safely.

Pilates is a total mind body-conditioning method that works by building strength from the
inside-out. It is an exercise programme based on developing your deep stomach and back
muscles to create a stable central core from which you will develop flexibility, strength, tone
and correct posture. Rebalancing your body and focusing your mind will give a more
confident body image and release unwanted stress and tension.
Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels; its many great fans include Katherine Hepburn
and Madonna. It is also now well recognised and respected, forming a key role in many
rehabilitation programmes. It is often recommended by medical specialists to prevent
